Creating products on Printumo and synchronising with Shopify

This guide will walk you through connecting your Shopify store to Printumo, creating products, and synchronizing them with your Shopify store.

Step 1: Connecting Printumo with your Shopify store

1. Log into your Printumo account and have your Shopify store open in another tab.
2. In Printumo, click on Stores to check if your Shopify store is already connected.
   • If connected, you will see your Shopify store listed.
   • If not connected, a button will be available to establish the connection.
3. If you need to connect your Shopify store:
   • Go to your Shopify store.
   • Use the search bar to find Printumo in the Shopify App Store.
   • Install the Printumo app and complete the setup.

Step 2: Creating a product on Printumo

1. Navigate to Products in your Printumo dashboard and click on Create a new product.
2. Choose your target market:
   • Europe and UK: 49 sizes and 4 framing options available.
   • Europe, UK, US, Canada, and Australia: 17 sizes available, without the oak frame option.
   • View specific sizes by aspect ratio to ensure your artwork fits.
3. Upload your artwork:
   • You can crop the image or use the full version.
4. Review your artwork preview and framing options.
   • Select desired frame types and sizes.
   • Ensure the image quality is suitable for your chosen print sizes. If the quality is marked as "average" for larger prints, consider uploading a higher-resolution file.
5. Click Continue when satisfied.

Step 3: Choosing mockups

1. Select mockups for your product.
   • Interior and plain mockups are available.
   • You can reorder or remove selected mockups as needed.
2. Click Continue when done.

Step 4: Naming and pricing your product

1. Enter a product name and description.
2. Set pricing for each product variant:
   • Adjust individual prices or set a global profit margin.
   • For example, to apply a 100% profit margin, enter 100% and click Update.
3. Review the product cost, shipping cost, and retail price.
4. Click Continue when satisfied.

Step 5: Finalizing your product

1. Review the product overview.
2. Click Continue to complete the creation.
3. Optionally, download mockups or delete the product.

Step 6: Synchronizing the product with Shopify

1. Click Add to Shopify to sync the product.
2. Printumo will create the product in Shopify and upload images.
3. Go back to Shopify and navigate to Products.
4. Search for your new product, open it, and confirm that all details (title, description, images, and variants) are correctly synced.

Editing products in Shopify

• You can edit product details, such as the name, images, or prices, without breaking the connection to Printumo.

That's it! Your product is now available on Shopify, fully synchronized with Printumo.
