Canvas wrapping determines how your image extends around the edges of your canvas print. This feature lets you choose how the sides of your canvas will look, creating different visual effects for your artwork.
What is Canvas Wrapping?
When your image is printed on canvas, it needs to wrap around the wooden frame. The wrapping option you choose determines what appears on the sides of the canvas - the parts you see when viewing the print from an angle.
Available Wrapping Options
Mirrored Edges (Default)
Your image edges are reflected and mirrored to create a seamless continuation around the canvas sides. This creates a natural-looking border without losing any part of your main image.
Best for: Most images, especially those with less important details near the edges
Visual effect: Creates an artistic, continuous look
Popular choice: Most customers choose this option for its attractive appearance
Stretched
Your entire image is stretched to wrap around the canvas edges. The center remains on the front face, while the edges extend onto the sides.
Best for: Images where you want no duplication of content
Visual effect: May cause some distortion on the wrapped edges
Consider this if: You prefer your original image to extend naturally
Solid Color
The sides of the canvas are filled with a solid color of your choice. Your image appears only on the front face with no wrapping.
Best for: Gallery-style presentation, images you want to keep completely intact
Visual effect: Clean, professional look with colored edges
Customizable: Choose any color that complements your artwork
