How can I edit existing products?
Overview
We’ve launched a highly requested feature that allows you to edit products you’ve already created. This guide will show you step by step how to edit your existing products directly in Printumo.
Step-by-Step: How to Edit an Existing Product
- Locate your product
- Go to your list of created products in Printumo.
- Find the product you want to edit.
- Click the three dots menu
- On the product card, click the three dots (⋮) to open the options menu.
- Select “Edit Product”
- Click Edit Product from the dropdown menu.
- Start editing your product
- You will start on the sizes and frames selection step, but you can also:
- Go back one step to recrop your original image.
- Upload a completely new image file if you want to replace it.
- Maintain or adjust aspect ratio
- If you upload a new image with a different aspect ratio, the tool will preserve the original crop aspect ratio by default. You can adjust this as needed before cropping.
- Select sizes and frames
- Choose additional sizes or change your current selections.
- Select different frame options such as oak, white, or black frames.
- Choose new mockups
- Update your product mockups by selecting the ones you want for your store listings.
- Edit product title
- Change the product title if needed to match your updated design or collection.
- Adjust margins (optional)
- Adjust margins or other product-specific settings on the final steps.
- Save your changes
- Click Continue through the remaining steps to save your updated product.
Will changes sync to Shopify?
Yes. If your product is synced to Shopify:
- Any changes you make to your Printumo product will also be synchronized with the Shopify product, including:
- Title updates
- New images
- Updated mockups
- New variants or sizes
- Price changes
This ensures that your Shopify store always displays the most up-to-date version of your products without manual updates.
