Using Printumo without Shopify
If you don’t have a Shopify store but still want to use Printumo, you can place orders manually. While you won’t have access to automated order syncing, you can still create products, set pricing, and place orders easily. Here’s how:
Step 1: Create a Product
- Log in to your Printumo dashboard.
- Navigate to the Products tab and click New Product.
- Choose the market:
- Europe, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Australia: Available sizes and frames vary by region.
- View available sizes and pricing for your selected market.
- Click Continue.
Step 2: Upload Your Artwork
- Click Upload, select your file, and wait for the preview.
- Crop the image if needed.
- Click Continue and wait for the upload to complete.
- Ensure the image quality is sufficient for your selected print sizes. If the quality is low, consider uploading a higher-resolution file.
Step 3: Choose Sizes and Framing Options
- View your uploaded artwork with framing previews.
- Select the frame options you want to offer.
- Choose the sizes you want to sell.
- Click Continue.
Step 4: Select Mockups
- Choose the mockups to display for your product.
- Select interior mockups if desired.
- Adjust the order of selected mockups.
- Click Continue.
Step 5: Set Product Pricing
- Assign a title and description to your product.
- Set retail prices for each size and frame option.
- Adjust pricing manually or use the profit percentage tool to set a markup.
- Review estimated profit margins (excluding VAT and other fees).
- Copy or save your pricing details for reference when adding the product to your shop.
- Click Continue.
Step 6: Finalize the Product
- Review the product details, including sizes, frames, and pricing.
- Click Continue to complete product creation.
- The product will now appear in your Printumo account.
Step 7: Manually Place an Order
Once a customer purchases a product from your store:
- Go to Printumo > Products and click Place an Order.
- Select the customer’s shipping country and click Continue.
- Choose the size and frame option that the customer ordered.
- Click Continue, review the order details, and proceed to shipping.
- Enter the customer's shipping details.
- Finalize and pay for the order.
Step 8: Order Fulfillment and Shipping
- Once payment is complete, the order moves to production.
- When the order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link.
- Share the tracking link with your customer through your preferred communication method.
By following these steps, you can successfully use Printumo even without a Shopify integration.
