You can invite other artists and shop owners to Printumo. Your friend gets 40% off their first order, and you earn €50 in credit once they have paid for it. You find everything on the Referrals page in your dashboard.
Step 1: Invite a friend
Open Referrals in the menu on the left.
Click "Copy link" and share your personal link anywhere you like, or type your friend's email address under "Invite via Email" and click "Send Invite".
Your friend creates a Printumo account through your link. Their 40% discount is added to their account and applies automatically to their first order, with no code to type.
You can only invite someone who does not have a Printumo account yet, and each person can only be referred once. An email invitation that is not used within 90 days expires.
Step 2: Earn your credit
As soon as your friend has paid for their first order, €50 is added to your credit balance and we send you an email to confirm it. The credit is used automatically the next time you pay for an order. If the order costs less than your balance, the rest stays on your account for later orders. Credit is held in euros and is converted if you pay in another currency.
What each status means
The Friends Invited table on your Referrals page shows where each referral stands.
Invited: we have sent your friend an email invitation, but they have not signed up yet.
Signed Up: your friend has an account but has not paid for an order yet.
Under review: your friend has paid for their first order and we are checking the referral before paying the €50. See below.
Qualified: the €50 has been added to your credit balance.
Not eligible: we checked the referral and could not pay the reward for it.
Expired: the email invitation was not used within 90 days.
Why a referral is "Under review"
The reward is for bringing a new, separate seller to Printumo. When your account and your friend's account look like they could belong to the same person, for example the same billing address, the same internet connection or very similar email addresses, we hold the €50 and a member of our team checks it by hand. A match on its own is not a judgement: offices, households and shared computers often look alike, which is why a person decides and not the system.
If the referral is approved, the €50 is added to your balance and you get the usual confirmation email.
If the two accounts belong to the same person or the same business, the referral changes to Not eligible and no credit is paid. The 40% discount your friend already used is not taken back.
You do not need to do anything while a referral is under review. If you think we have made a mistake, send us a message from the Support page.
