A bundle is one listing that sells several of your products together: a pair of prints, an art wall, a set of three. Your customer buys once, and we print and ship every piece in it. You build a bundle from products you have already published, so there is nothing new to upload.
Step 1: Open the bundle builder
Go to "Stores" and open the settings page for the shop you sell in, for example Shopify.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Product bundles" section.
Click "Create bundle".
Step 2: Pick the products
You will see a list of every finished product you have. Search it by name, or filter it by print type.
Tick the first product you want in the bundle.
Tick the others. Each one gets a number, which is the order they appear in.
Click "Continue".
A bundle holds between two and ten products. Once you tick the first one, any product that cannot go with it is greyed out and tells you why, so you never build a bundle that cannot be printed.
Which products can go together
Two things have to match: the print type and the shape of the artwork.
Canvas goes with canvas, fine art paper with fine art paper. You cannot mix them. This rule applies not only to bundles but to all product configurations in Printumo.
The artwork has to be the same shape. A square picture goes with another square picture, a 3:2 picture with another 3:2 picture. This is what lets us offer the same sizes for every piece in the set.
If a product says "Shape not recognised", open it and re-crop the artwork, then come back.
Step 3: Choose sizes and frames
Every size that shape prints at is offered, whether or not each product lists it today. Tick the sizes, frames and borders you want the bundle sold at, then click "Continue".
Your customer picks one size and one frame for the whole bundle, and every piece is printed that way. The coloured dot on a size is the print quality of the weakest artwork at that size, because that is the one that decides how the set looks.
Step 4: Set the price and publish
Each price starts as the sum of what you already charge for the products in the bundle. Change any of them, or use the profit slider to reprice them all at once.
Give the bundle a title and a description.
Publish it to your shop from the last screen, exactly as you would any other product.
What happens when a bundle sells
Your customer sees one product and pays once. On your Printumo order the bundle arrives as one line per piece, each marked "Part of bundle", so you can see what is being made. Each piece is printed, priced and tracked on its own, and your customer is charged delivery for every piece rather than for one.
The pieces may be made in different places and can therefore arrive in more than one parcel. We tell your shop the order has shipped once the last piece has left, and we send every parcel's tracking number with it.
Good to know
While a bundle is live, the products in it keep the sizes and frames it is sold at. Those show a small padlock on the product's own page and cannot be removed, and the product itself cannot be deleted until you delete the bundle.
Your products keep selling on their own. A bundle sits beside them and changes nothing about them.
A bundle has no room photos of its own yet. It uses the artwork of the first product in it.
You can change which products are in a bundle while it is still a draft. Once it is published, build a new one instead.- Duplicating a product does not allow changing its print type. To offer the same artwork on a different print type, you must create a new product.
If you would rather we set the bundles up for you, send us a list of which products belong together and we will build them.
