Need to swap out the artwork on an existing product without walking through every editing step? Use the "Re-upload image" action to jump straight to the image upload step, update the artwork, and land back on your products list in seconds.
When To Use It
You spotted a problem in the original file (colour correction, a watermark, and so on).
A licensing partner sent you an updated file after the product was already published.
You want to update the print file without touching framing, sizes, pricing, titles, or descriptions.
How It Works
Open the products list
Go to Products in the left navigation.
Open the "More actions" menu
On the row for the product you want to update, click the ︙ button (or the "More actions" button on mobile).
Choose "Re-upload image"
This puts the product back into the Replace or recrop original image step and keeps every other setting as it is.
Upload the new image
Drag and drop the new file, or browse for it.
Adjust the crop boxes, just as you would when creating a product.
Click "Continue" when you are happy with it.
Return to your products list
Once the upload finishes, you go straight back to Products with a confirmation banner. The product stays Active, and only the imagery changes.
What Happens In Your Connected Shops
Printumo rebuilds the print file and the mockups from your new artwork, then sends the update to your connected shops automatically. You do not need to edit the product again afterwards.
On Shopify, the listing pictures are refreshed with the new mockups. Printumo only replaces its own images, so any photos you added to the listing yourself in Shopify are kept.
On Etsy, the listing keeps the pictures it already has. To refresh those, open the product's Mockups section in Printumo and add, remove or reorder a photo. That sends the whole gallery to Etsy.
Give the mockups a few minutes to finish rendering before you check your storefront. A large file takes longer.
What Stays Untouched
Framing, sizes, and variants
Titles, descriptions, and pricing
Your product stays Active the whole time, so it never leaves your storefront
