Adding products to Squarespace

This guide shows you how to publish your Printumo products to your Squarespace store.

Prerequisites

• ✅ A connected Squarespace store (see our guide: Connect my Squarespace store to Printumo)
• ✅ A store page on your Squarespace site (Squarespace needs at least one store page to hold your products)
• ✅ At least one finished product in Printumo

Step 1: Add a product to Squarespace

1. In Printumo, go to Products
2. Find the product you want to publish to Squarespace
3. Click "Add to Squarespace"
4. Wait a moment while we create the product and sync the details

You'll see a confirmation in Printumo when the product has been created, and the product will show as "Synced to Squarespace."

What gets created in Squarespace

When you click Add to Squarespace, Printumo creates the product on your store page and syncs:

• Product title and description (from Printumo)
• Variants (sizes and framing options)
• SKUs (used to match incoming orders to your Printumo products)
• Prices, converted to your store's currency and rounded to clean price points
• Product images/mockups (uploaded in the background shortly after the product is created)

The product is published as visible right away, so it appears in your store as soon as it's created. When you later edit the product in Printumo, we automatically push the updated title, description, and pricing to Squarespace.

Good to know

• Squarespace allows at most 250 variants per product. If a product has more, the Add to Squarespace button is disabled: reduce the number of sizes, frames, or passepartouts and try again.
• Do not rename, add or remove the options or their choices (such as size, frame or passepartout) on a Printumo product inside Squarespace. Squarespace gives the changed choices new SKUs, and Printumo can then no longer recognise orders for them. Printumo also sets the option names again each time it updates the listing. To change sizes or frames, edit the product in Printumo.
• Mockup images upload in the background, so give them a few minutes to appear on the product.
• If you see a message about a missing store page, add a store page to your Squarespace site first, then try again.

Where to find the product in Squarespace

In your Squarespace dashboard, open your product list to see the new product, or visit your store page on your live site.

If you don't see it in your storefront right away, check that your store page is enabled and visible in Squarespace.
