Step 1: Open your shipping rates Step 2: Find the size you want to edit Step 3: Edit a rate Step 4: Save your changes Offering free shipping to everyone What it costs you OriginalsYou can choose what buyers pay at checkout to have prints sent from your Printumo Shop. Offer free shipping, charge less than Printumo, or set your own rate for each size and destination. Until you change a rate, buyers pay Printumo's shipping price.
Step 1: Open your shipping rates
There are two ways in:
- Go to Printumo shop, open "Settings" and click "Shipping rates for prints" in the "Shipping" card.
- Or go to Products, click "Bulk actions" and, under "Change shipping rates", click "Printumo Shop".
Step 2: Find the size you want to edit
- Open "Canvas prints" or "Paper prints".
- Click a size group to expand it. The sizes it covers are listed under its name.
- Inside, you will see each group of countries with its current rates.
Step 3: Edit a rate
Each group of countries has two amounts you can change:
- First item: what the buyer pays to ship the first print in the order.
- Each extra item: what is added for every additional print in the same order.
Amounts are shown in your shop's currency. You can set any value, including 0 for free shipping. Leaving a box blank clears your rate and returns it to Printumo's shipping price.
Step 4: Save your changes
- As soon as you change a value, a "Save changes" button appears at the top of that size group.
- Click "Save changes". Buyers see the new rates at checkout straight away.
Offering free shipping to everyone
- Click "Make all shipping free" in the "Offer free shipping" box at the top of the page.
- Confirm when asked. This sets every print shipping rate to zero and saves right away.
To undo it, or to remove all the rates you entered, click "Reset to defaults" at the bottom of the page and confirm. Every rate goes back to Printumo's shipping price.
What it costs you
Printumo still charges you its own shipping price for every order, whatever your buyer paid. When you charge buyers less, or nothing, the difference comes out of what you earn on the sale. For example, if Printumo's rate is 8.00 and you offer free shipping, the buyer pays nothing for shipping and you are still charged 8.00 for it.
Many sellers who offer free shipping raise their print prices a little to cover it. You can do that for all your products at once: go to Products, click "Bulk actions" and choose "Change prices".
Originals
These rates are for prints only. Originals are not affected: they use the postage you set on each original.
